Minnesota Woman to Star on New Season of ‘The Bachelorette’
Everyone fell in love with Michelle Young during this most recent season of 'The Bachelor'. She's a teacher from Edina, Minnesota and while she was the runner-up this past season, she's going to get her own season in the Bachelor franchise. Michelle will be the star of an upcoming season of 'The Bachelorette'.
I feel like it's safe to say that Michelle was the favorite from this season, closely followed by Katie Thurston, who was eliminated earlier in this past season of 'The Bachelor'. Both Katie and Michelle have a few things in common: they were both in this past season of 'The Bachelor', they were both eliminated, and they're both the newest Bachelorettes!
Wait, what? Two Bachelorettes? How does that work? Katie and Michelle will have their own separate seasons. The official announcement was made during 'The Bachelor' finale this past Monday. Michelle revealed during the show that she thought the producers wanted her and Katie to do a season together and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. Then when she realized it was two separate seasons she was all in!
The two of them seem to be friends so I'm sure they'll be trading notes on how things go. We've been told that Katie's season begins filming this weekend and her season will air in the summer. As for Michelle's season, I'm not sure when they'll be filming but her season will air this fall.
