Minnesota Man Handed 24 Year Prison Sentence For Child Porn
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Minnesota man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for producing child pornography.
A news release from the US Attorney for Minnesota says 39-year-old Russell Anderson-Baldwin was convicted back in January in Isanti County of two child pornography possession charges and was on probation when he was charged with the production of child pornography in federal court. He pleaded guilty to the federal charge in June.
Court records say the Isanti County man used a variety of social media platforms and messaging apps to communicate with a child and coerce the minor to create sexually explicit videos. The criminal complaint alleged there were approximately 286 sexually explicit videos of the victim along with about 140 child pornography videos and images of other victims.
