Fans of the golden arches in several Minnesota cities will have the honor of being the guinea pigs for a soon-to-be-permanent item on the companies breakfast menu. According to Bring Me The News, it will be available at its 200+ restaurants across the state, including the Twin Cities, Duluth and right here in Rochester.

So what's in it? Well McDonald's says it has the following ingredients: Brioche, egg, cheese, sausage, bacon and syrup.

“You get savory and smoky flavors from the sausage and bacon,” said McDonald’s Chef Mike Lingo. “Creaminess, cheddar flavors and salt from the American cheese; sweet cinnamon, spice and vanilla flavors from the French toast. It tastes like homemade French toast. It’s everything you love about breakfast in one sandwich.”

Yeah, you can sign me up for one right now.

Fun fact: Mike Lingo also said they're trying to use local ingredients as well. The brioche used for the French toast is made in Monticello, Minnesota!

If all goes well, and I don't see why it wouldn't, customers nationwide will be able to get the new breakfast sandwich by mid-2019.
