Man Arraigned As Suspect in Rochester Armed Robbery
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arraigned Friday as a suspect in a recent armed robbery in the city.
Bail for 21-year-old Dushwan Minor was set at $100,000.
He is facing two aggravated robbery charges, accused of being involved in the Dec 18th robbery of Sun Tan City. A female employee was robbed at gunpoint and police say three men also drove off with her husband’s car as he waited for her to get off work.
Minor was arrested Christmas Day but released because the Olmsted County Attorney’s office didn’t feel there was enough evidence to charge him. That changed this week when police searched two homes, including one across the street from the business that was robbed.
Minor is currently on probation for a conviction connected to a motel robbery. He was charged with aggravated robbery in the August holdup of the Staybridge Suites but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Police did arrest another suspect in the Sun Tan City robbery but he has not yet been charged.
