KFIL brought you a Southeast Conference volleyball match-up last night between the Spring Grove Lions and the Houston Hurricanes. The Lions roared out to a 6-0 lead in set number one and a 6-0 run is how they would end the set to go up 1-0 in the match. Spring Grove kept it up and took the second set, and busted out for a big lead in the third and held on after a late Hurricane surge to sweep Houston 3 sets to 0.  Subway Player of the Game for Houston was Amber Chapel. Lauryn Bohr was very active on the attack last night and got the Subway Player of the Game for Spring Grove. The Kingsley Mercantile Game Ball was awarded to Mariah Edgington-it was a well-served match by her especially.
Thursday night we have more high school volleyball action! On KFIL you can hear Fillmore Central vs. Lewiston-Altura. Over on Cool 104, St. Charles takes on Kingsland. Both broadcasts will be underway just after 7:00. We hope you can join us!
