Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase is happy to announce the start of the 2015 Law Enforcement Scholarship Program. The Minnesota Sheriff's Association has a scholarship fund to award up to fifteen $600 scholarships this year.

Applicants must be enrolled in either a mandated POST Skills Program, in their second year of a two-year law enforcement program, or in their third or fourth year of a four-year college criminal justice program.

Applications are available online at the Minnesota Sheriff's Association website or at the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office. Scholarship awards will be announced by December 31, 2015. For more information, contact Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase at 507-765-3874.
