Get ready for three days of fun, food, music, and plenty of friendly competition at TugFest 2026. This annual celebration brings the community together along the beautiful levee for a packed weekend featuring a carnival, live entertainment, food vendors, and a beer tent.

The fun continues throughout town with a Grand Parade, 5K race, bags tournament, and one of the region’s biggest fireworks displays. But, of course, the main event is the competition that started it all, the legendary tug-of-war across the Mississippi River, where teams battle it out from opposite sides of the river.

And this week, TugFest is taking things to the big top with the theme “The Greatest Pull on Earth!” Expect a circus-inspired celebration filled with all the excitement, entertainment, and spectacle that make TugFest one of the area’s most anticipated summer traditions.
