5. The Norwegian at 1402 North Main Street.

The menu is very unique, and everything sounds so good. I love the small plates they have for breakfast; we need more breakfast appetizers in our lives.

4. Abreo Restaurant at 515 East Street.

The tuna appetizer, duck nachos, and surprisingly, the fries were some of the best I've had.

3. Sahara Palace Restaurant at 5890 East State Street.

I will definitely be ordering the appetizer. My toddler ate most of the hummus and half of my shawarma sandwich, saying, "mmmm!" after every bite.

2. 8th Ward Pub at 3905 Broadway.

The service was so great! And the small plates was perfect and filling for a before dinner snack.

1. Trop Club at 6282 East Riverside Boulevard.

The sandwich and appetizer didn't disappoint. Make sure you try the sauce with the appetizer. Very well done.

Sounds like Trop Club is a must if you just want apps. I've never been before, so I might need to take a trip.
