Naked Wisconsin Man Steals Ambulance With People Inside
A Wisconsin man went viral this week for being naked and stealing an ambulance, but the reality of the situation is far more scary than funny.

It may not be nice to make fun of people when they're down, but the things some people do truly are laughable and I can't help it. This nationally trending story out of Wisconsin is a perfect example.
Naked Man Steals Ambulance in Wisconsin
It's a sad but true fact that many of the stupid criminal stories we highlight come from Florida, but today's story comes from a city in Wisconsin that I am very familiar with: Wisconsin Rapids.
Now that we know this story ends with a naked man getting arrested for stealing an ambulance, let's get to the most important question: why did this dude steal an ambulance in the first place?
Well, no one seems to know exactly why the suspect, now identified as Benjamin Feltz, stole the ambulance, but WSAW-TV reports:
Feltz, who authorities later learned had been evading law enforcement and was doing push-ups while naked in public, got into the ambulance driver’s seat.
So, did Feltz steal the ambulance to get away from cops trying to arrest him for doing naked push-ups in public? It certainly sounds that way, but one thing is for sure: his high-speed stupidity made the crime much worse.
The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department issued a press release saying Feltz has been charged with multiple felonies including:
- Disorderly Conduct
- Lewd and Lascivious Behavior
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent
- Obstructing Emergency Personnel
- Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Threats to Law Enforcement
- Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd Offense
Wow. There are so many lessons to learn from this bizarre story, but perhaps the most important one is this:
Doing random push-ups in public naked is never a good idea, but stealing an ambulance with people inside just to get away from the cops will always be a terrible and dangerous idea. Please don't do that.
