Back in my twenty's, I had a few friends that lived in the Wrigleyville Neighborhood in Chicago. I would pretty much hang our their with them every weekend. While living down there, my buddies learned about some really cool under the radar places to hang out. We were going to see bands and comedians quite a bit. It was great checking out the places where the "locals" hung out as opposed to the "touristy" joints.

For one night only—Chicago’s famous Den Theatre is hosting ‘Twisted Tarot’, an unpredictable 60-minute live show where real parlor mysticism meets comedy.
The Den Theatre is a famous place, but a different kind of famous. It wasn't like Zanies or Second City that everyone knew about. You had to be in the "know" to have it on your radar. They host many live shows, but mostly comedy related. Their bread and butter is unique comedy shows, that haven't been down before.
There is a special one-night only show coming up on Sunday, September 27th. It's the Twisted Tarot Show. It combines the world of improv comedy and tarot card reading. The two don't normally go together, but I'm confident they will make it work. The show will be hosted by a mystic who will conduct the readings and a comedian to share their commentary. I think this will be a hilarious and interesting show.
