Milwaukee’s Beloved Barber Shop Involved In Dramatic Drug Arrest
I've heard of drug busts happening in some rather unusual places, but this recent one in Wisconsin was at somewhere I never expected.
Wisconsin Police Carry Out A Massive Drug Bust At A Milwaukee Barber Shop
Going for haircuts is something my dad and I did together. Every few weeks, the barber shop was a stop on our Saturday morning errands. He took me for my first haircut to a barber named Orlando, and I went to him until he retired. I was just an one man operation. I remember he had a TV, a cool little waiting lounge, and lots of magazines. It wasn't the type of place you expect trouble.

According to WISN Milwaukee...
12 News cameras captured windows busted out at the storefront, which includes a sign that says "Goodfellas Barber Shop/Beauty Salon." Officials said, overall, they arrested two people and seized 18 pounds of methamphetamine, one kilogram of fentanyl, half a kilogram of cocaine, and one firearm.
With such great memories of going to the barber shop, I was really surprised that a drug bust would happen at one. Even still today, a barber shop is just a cool hang. Apparently, the owners of Goodfellas in Milwaukee thought of it a bit differently. Even though I love the name. Goodfellas is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's very disappointing.

Sounds like this was a big bust with the Milwaukee cops confiscating 18 pounds of meth along with some coke, fentanyl, and an illegal gun. Congrats to the police for making the arrests.
