People don't fly because there's too much stress involved.

Think about it, how many people do you know would rather just drive for hours on end instead of dealing with the hassle of the airport?

I love to fly. It's leaps and bounds better than driving long distances to the destination.

Maybe it's because I do most of the driving or maybe because I feel like flying is just a bit more fancy.

Then again, it might just be the airports I frequent. On second thought, most of my travel in my life has started at O'Hare so that can't be right.

One of the busiest airports in the world, O'Hare located in Chicago is certainly not on the list of the Most Reliable Airports in the U.S. for Stress-Free Travel from Far & Wide.

It's not because O'Hare is a bad airport, to me it's one of the best. I think the sheer volume of flights in and out and the amount of humanity in and around O'Hare qualify the whole thing as stressful.

However, a few Wisconsin airports seem to have that whole "stress-free" thing on lock because they were both highlighted by Far & Wide.

Ranked 5th overall, Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport is considered one of the most reliable:

While 88 percent of flights at this airport are general aviation (meaning that they're not commercial), only 100 flights in 2023 were canceled, delayed or diverted. Like many airports on this list, Rhinelander has flights through Delta Connection, which takes people to Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Even better LaCross Regional Airport was ranked 2nd with only 9.3 of flights causing issues:

If you don't have a private aircraft, you'll likely fly to and from Chicago-O'Hare on American Eagle. Sit back and relax as you wait for boarding — there's a very low chance of your flight changing.

There's two airports. What about you? In your opinion what is the most reliable airport in America?
