If you're a drink mixer at the fountain station at Culver's, this change is a biggie.
That's because the beloved "Culver's Green" drink can't be made anymore.

A Major Shakeup at the Fountain Station
As of today, Culver's has begun swapping out Mello Yello for Cherry Coke at some locations.
Fans of Mello Yello who were looking to replicate Mountain Dew's Baja Blast would mix it with Blue Powerade, and it tasted pretty similar.
Now that it's gone, the chain has only Sprite and Fanta Orange as its citrus soda choices.
The Death of a Fan-Favorite Secret Menu Hack
I know this might come as a surprise if you're only a Culver's root beer drinker, since it's probably the restaurant's most popular fountain drink.
It might be even more eye-opening if you just realized Culver's switched from Pepsi products to Coca-Cola in 2023.

Cherry Coke Steps in as the New Citrus Alternative
You can't deny Cherry Coke's popularity, though. I'm actually kind of stunned it wasn't already available.
With Culver's restaurants all over Rockford, along with other spots in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, plenty of fans will notice the change the next time they roll through for a ButterBurger.
