A venue here in Minnesota is set to be the place where this iconic music group will play their last live show... ever.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes has a rich history of producing some incredible musical talent, right? There's Prince and Bob Dylan, of course (have you heard they're both from Minnesota?!?) as well as other artists like Adam Young (known as Owl City) from Owatonna, Trample By Turtles from Duluth and Yung Gravy from Rochester.

And, of course, the Twin Cities have also given us 90s acts like Semisonic, Soul Asylum and the Replacements. And more recently, Lizzo has also claimed Minnesota as her one-time home.

So perhaps it's fitting that this iconic group is set to perform their last live show EVER here in the North Star State. Do you know which group will wrap up their over 50-year career here in 'Sota?

If you said the Eagles, you're right. The longtime band responsible for hits like Take It Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Take It To The Limit, Already Gone and more is heading out on their The Long Goodbye - Final Tour later this fall, and their last two scheduled dates are right here in the Gopher State.

The Eagles' official website notes that the tour will launch on September 7th, 2023 at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 7th and is scheduled to wrap up on Friday, November 17th, 2023 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

We want to give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round. We hope to see as many of you as we can before we finish up. Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.

The demand for tickets was so great that the band actually added extra dates here in Minnesota, as well as in New York, Denver, Boston, Indianapolis, and Atlanta as well. But their final show, as it stands now, will take place here in the Bold North.

Of course, many bands *say* a tour might be their final tour, only to come out of retirement to tour again later. The Eagles famously did this when they broke up in the 80s, saying they'd only tour again when 'hell freezes over.'

As history shows, though, they DID get back together, 14 years later, in 1994 for their Hell Freezes Over Tour and subsequent live album, and have continued to tour on and off since then.

But for right now, though, this appears to be it for the classic American band that formed back in 1971. You can get ticket information and more about The Long Goodbye Tour HERE.
