The Most Popular Wedding Songs in Southeast Minnesota
I feel like music has played a huge roll in my life for so many years, and my husband did the best job incorporating that in his proposal. I also have a pretty unique story about our first dance song - I'll get to that in a second. I'm also going to run down the most popular wedding songs in Southeast Minnesota - video included - real soon.
But first, a whopping 9 years ago (feels like yesterday), when my now-husband asked me to marry him, he used the Brett Eldredge song Mean to Me to propose. Fortunately, it was all caught on video and done right here at our office in downtown Rochester. ICYMI, the video is actually quite adorable.
Now, when we got married, we did a destination wedding and didn't have an actual first dance song picked out because we didn't have a reception, but the night had different plans for us. We went to a bar with our wedding crew and to our surprise there was a live band performing and they dedicated a song to us. I like to say our first dance song picked us and it's the perfect song. It's Oasis - Wonderwall.
Here are Southeast Minnesota's most popular wedding songs, not in any particular order. Lots of newer stuff and some of the classics.
Rascal Flatts - Bless This Broken Road
Florida Georgia Line - H.O.L.Y.
Tim McGraw - It's Your Love. Tim's song, My Best Friend also made the list.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani - Nobody but You.
Extreme - More Than Words.
Kane Brown - What's Mine is Yours... Give it a few years, and Kane's duet with his wifey Thank God will be a top one as well, mark my words.
Dustin Lynch - Cowboys and Angels.
Chris Young - Who I am With You.
Hunter Hayes - Wanted.
George Strait - Cross My Heart.
Clint Black - When I said I do.
Luke Combs - Beautiful Crazy.
