We get two days of nice weather and I'm ready to do some spring cleaning and air out my house.

I love decluttering and donating stuff I'm not using anymore. And Goodwill is typically my go-to.

Before donating items to your local Goodwill, it's essential to note that not all things are accepted. 

Goodwill stores welcome thousands of donations of new or gently used items that are in good condition, clean, safe, and suitable for resale. You can donate everything from clothes to small appliances to games.

And Minnesotans love to donate!!

"Minnesotans are generous with donations and we process over 75 million items annually to provide funding for our services that connect people to jobs." - Goodwill.

I'm definitely one of those contributors and I spend a ton of time thrifting as well. It's one of my favorite things to do.

But, what are the donation items they won't accept?

Goodwill might not take certain items if there's a legal risk, safety problem, or if the item could be harmful waste. They could also refuse if you're trying to donate something that's not clean or in good condition.
