Celebrate YOU: Valentine’s & Galentine’s Events in Rochester

It’s the week of Valentine’s Day, and you’re single as a Pringle. That’s ok! You don’t need someone else to make you happy! There are plenty of events and things you can do for Valentine’s Day around Rochester, MN that are super fun and don’t require a partner.

Galentine's and Singles Events in Rochester, MN for Valentine's Day

On Friday, February 13th, it’s Galentine’s Day, and there are a couple of events going on in town to go have some fun with your girl friends.

Galentine’s Day: Friends Night Out at The Kahler Grand Hotel
On Friday the 13th, 5 - 7 PM, The Kahler is hosting a Galentine’s Day party! There will be a make-your-own bouquet bar, a beauty lounge, light hors d’oeuvres, music, and themed cocktails. Tickets are $53.92 per person and are expected to go fast.

Galentine’s Day at Jack’s Bottle Shop
On Friday the 13th, 6 - 8:30 PM, you can enjoy a 30-minute wine tasting plus a charcuterie cup at Jack’s Bottle Shop. Then you can explore the selection of wines from the tasting and make your own wine box to bring home. Tickets are $34.85.

The other events are on Valentine’s Day itself.

Singles Awareness Dinner
On Saturday, the 14th, at 7 PM, you can meet up with other singles in Rochester for dinner out. This is put together by a group called ADDVentures. You buy a ticket (which is $23) to reserve your spot (it doesn’t pay for food or drinks). The group size will determine where the dinner will be held. They emphasize that this event is not a dating event, it’s an event for fellow singles to get together and maybe make some new friends. Only 4-8 people will be at each dinner, so it’s not a huge group, and you answer a questionnaire before the event, so you're placed with similar people.

Quarry Hill Valentine’s Hike by Candlelight
On Saturday, the 14th, 6 - 9 PM, you can take a hike at Quarry Hill by candlelight. It’s $15 per person and includes an adult beverage from the gourmet hot coco bar and a chocolate treat. You could do this event by yourself or with some friends. The event is 21+.
