The 6 Items You Absolutely Can’t Return to Target
For the most part, Target's return policy is pretty straight forward. If you've got something that's unopened you typically have 90 days to return it if you need to.

Items You Are Never Allowed to Return to Target
Trading Cards and Trading Card Accessories
This one makes sense after the insanity that happened during the COVID pandemic where people were literally fighting each other for sports cards.
I'm not sure how long this policy has been in place, but Target will not accept returns for things like Pokémon, sport cards, trading card binders, etc.
Open or Defective Collectibles
This would be things like special edition Barbie dolls, porcelain dolls, action figures and die-cast cars. Yes, even if it's defective you can't return it.

Personalized Items and Digital Downloads
Well, this one shouldn't require an explanation.
Opened and/or Unsealed Breast Pumps
Again, this shouldn't require an explanation.
Specialty Gift Cards, Pre-Paid Gift Cards, and Target Gift Cards
Gift cards can not be returned or redeemed for cash. This would include items like Target, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, restaurant, and entertainment gift cards.
Fragrances Sold by Target Plus Partners
Target Plus partners are third-party sellers and I can imagine trying to ship back a fragrance bottle for a return could be complicated and may result in a lot of broken fragrance bottles. Makes sense to me.
