I just happened to run across a Facebook post from the Olmsted County Environmental Resources page that is going to help so many of us right now.
Grab your shovels! A recently screened pile of compost has been added near the bunker on the south side of the Olmsted County Compost Site.
Great for enhancing growth in flowerbeds, gardens, and lawns, compost can be self-loaded any day of the week during daylight hours.
There is no fee; however, donation boxes are available on-site for residents who wish to support the Compost Site's daily operations (not funded by property taxes).
