One piece of winter in Minnesota that no one tells you about before you move here is how isolating the cold months can be.  Daylight Savings makes it feel like we all should call it a night and go to bed at 6:00 pm.  And the negative temps that sometimes show up as "warnings" and "watches" are honestly, a bit scary.  The National Weather Service are telling us that it is so cold out, staying inside is a better option for everyone.  Netflix is now our friend until Spring.

If you have watched everything on Netflix and need a break with real people again, a fun annual event is happening on January 31st in Southeast Minnesota.  The list of activities is pretty extensive!  In other words, there is something on the schedule that everyone will love.  I've got the details below in case you want to check it out.
