One of my favorite things ever is when I hear someone say, "You can wear jeans", especially when it is for a fundraiser.  I can be comfortable AND I can just look in my closet and wear something I already own and not spend more money on a new, fancy outfit. WIN!!!

Here's some good news for all my jean-wearing friends, those words were just spoken for you.  Denim, Diamonds, and Dice is back again for another year in Rochester, Minnesota and you are invited to show up in jeans, have a fun and relaxing night in your comfy clothes, and know that your jean-loving self is helping people in our community.

FYI, I know that some of my friends love getting all glammed up.  You are more than welcome to do that as well.  Throw on those diamonds, get your nails done, and join in on the fun too!  Just make sure those high heels are comfy because you've got some fun casino games to play.

Everything You Need to Know About Denim, Diamonds, and Dice Event in Rochester, Minnesota

Can you imagine NOT having a meal each day or seeing another person?  Most of us are so busy with our day-to-day tasks that we forget that for many in our area, this is their reality.

As you are driving around town, up and down Broadway and Highway 52, several vehicles full of meals are doing the same.  While you might be rushing to get your kid from school or practice, those vehicles are off to deliver one of the 100 meals brought to our community members each day, most who are between 60 and 100+ years old.  While you are finally relaxing on a weekend, those vehicles are still out and stopping at various locations because this service continues 7 days a week.  THIS is Meals on Wheels.

Meals on Wheels helps participants eat healthier foods, makes them feel safer at home, increases food security, and gives a smile to someone who might be feeling isolated or alone.  You may not have time to drive one of those vehicles around town to drop off meals but there is something that you are invited to that will help the Meals and Wheels program, grabbing a ticket for the Denim, Diamonds, and Dice fundraiser!

• WHAT TO EXPECT: Amazing food by local chefs, fantastic silent auction items, TONS of fun with the celebrity dealers at the casino games.  In fact, I even work with a few of them.  Dunken & Carly from 106.9 KROC have been already practicing their dealing skills in the studio so they are ready for a fun night with you!
