Mayo Clinic Helicopter Damaged by Bird Collision
Plainview, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Mayo Clinic helicopter was involved in a mishap Friday evening.
Mayo Clinic issued a statement today that indicates Mayo One made a precautionary landing at the Plainview athletic fields while transporting a patient. The statement says the pilot made the move after a collision damaged the helicopter's windshield.

Mayo says the patient and the four crewmembers on the aircraft were not injured. The statement also says the patient's care was not interrupted and the person was transferred to an ambulance to continue their journey to the hospital.
