Helmetless Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash in SE Minnesota
Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol says a motorcyclist from Red Wing was not wearing a helmet when he was involved in a traffic crash this morning on Highway 61.
The incident was reported around 11:15 AM at an intersection in Red Wing. The State Patrol says 62-year-old John Wiese was driving a motorcycle that collided with a southbound SUV when he made a U-turn from northbound to southbound Highway 61.

He was transported to the Red Wing Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The 50-year-old Goodhue woman driving the SUV was not hurt.
