St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide missing person alert for a St. Paul child.

The St. Paul Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in finding 12-year-old Deszia Bates. She was last seen at her residence in east St. Paul on Wednesday and was officially reported missing on Friday.

She is described as black, 5 foot 4, about 112 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police do not have a clothing description at this time nor do they have any information about where she might have been going when she apparently left her home.
