Wow! McDonald’s Meat Wins MN State Fair Championships

The Minnesota State Fair wrapped up yesterday, which signals a return to school for many Minnesota students this week. It also means we know who has the best (blank). Blue Ribbons, best in shows, and overall grand champions were awarded during the Great Minnesota Get Together, and one local meat market can say at least 2 of their products offered are tops in Minnesota! McDonald's Meat's in Clear Lake shared the winning news late last week!

The Clear Lake-based business shared the news on social media late last week that its bacon and meat sticks were crowned state fair champions in their respective categories!

McDonald's Meats isn't a stranger to innovation or awards. Earlier this year the meat market unveiled its meat vending machine, enabling customers to grab what they need, when they need it, rather than having to arrive when the main store is open. The reason behind the vending machine is a simple one according to co-owner Jennifer Dierkes, as she told our willing station WJON back in July "...we can't be open 24 hours a day".
