Fresh Donuts, cheap bananas... bread and milk for days... We'll see you next time.'

One of the largest Kwik Trips EVER is about to open 40 minutes from St. Cloud.

THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER

This Thursday, one of the largest Kwik Trips ever built is opening in Ramsey. Carwash, diesel, regular gas....It's gonna be a big deal.  It seems here in the Midwest we love us a good convenience store.

If you're a Kwik Trip fan like so many people I know, you're going to want to put this one on your radar.

Another Kwik Trip is getting ready to open in Minnesota, and this isn't your typical neighborhood convenience store.

A brand new Kwik Trip is opening at 8040 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW at the southwest corner of Armstrong Boulevard and Bunker Lake Boulevard in Ramsey. According to JP Drone Solutions, the store is expected to open on Wednesday, July 23 at 5 a.m.

WHY IS THIS KWIK TRIP SO SPECIAL?

This will be one of Kwik Trip's new Generation 3 stores, measuring about 9,000 square feet.

To put that into perspective, JP Drone Solutions says the Kwik Trip on 7th Avenue in Anoka is around 5,000 square feet. That means the Ramsey location is nearly twice as large.

SMALL TOWN GROCERY STORE FEEL

I've always thought Kwik Trip feels more like a small grocery store than a gas station anyway, and this new design seems to lean even further in that direction.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT?

Expect wider aisles, more room to shop, updated finishes, and a much larger kitchen area.

Of course, all of the favorites should be there too. Fresh Glazers, the famous super affordable bananas, coffee, hot food, bakery items, and plenty of grab and go choices are expected to fill the shelves.

The location will also feature a car wash and diesel fuel canopy.

PEOPLE ARE CHIMING IN ONLINE

As with just about every new Kwik Trip announcement, people have had plenty to say online.

Some can't wait for the doors to open, while others wonder if the area really needs another Kwik Trip. One commenter joked that they weren't rushing to any of them "anytime Kwikly." Another admitted they're still loyal to Casey's.

WILL THIS BE A TRUCK STOP?

One question that came up several times was whether the location would offer diesel for larger semi trucks since it's located near Highway 10 and several fleet businesses. Others were simply excited to see another business opening in a fast-growing part of Ramsey.

IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED...

If you've driven through Ramsey lately, you've probably noticed how quickly that part of town has been growing. New businesses, new neighborhoods, and now one of the biggest Kwik Trip locations in the area all point to continued growth.

Whether you're stopping in for a cup of coffee before work, grabbing dinner on the way home, or just making a quick snack run, you'll have another option starting July 23rd.

Something tells me that parking lot is going to be pretty busy on opening day.
