Is Minnesota ready for this? It appears that a new Asian mall will be coming to Minnesota in the future. Details on the new retailer, including the location and size of the mall, will be announced tomorrow according to a social media post.

Cats kind of out of the bag. With @keefercourt finally off the ground and @phomaimn and @mochidoughasiamallmn continue to thrive, it’s again time for our next and probably biggest project Eva. We are excited to announce that Asia Village will be coming to MN! Please join our livestream on Wed May 1 at 9:15am to find out more details of this new mall. https://fb.me/e/1Re4vdXJd

We teamed up with the Asia Mall Eden Prairie owners to bring this new Asian inspired shopping and dining destination to the Twin Cities. Below is what we envision this mall to look like.

The ambitious plan still has a lot of question marks surrounding it, but tomorrow hopefully there will be more answers including a possible location, retailers, etc.

Currently, there is a mall in Eden Prairie that is devoted to "a unique experience whereby Minnesotans can shop for fresh Asian groceries, pick up live seafood and dine at the top local Asian restaurants, all in one place" according to the Asia Mall's website.

The mall in Eden Prairie seems to be doing well, as it's open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm.
