Where Is The Northernmost Point In The Lower 48 You Can Get A Burger? It’s In Minnesota!
I had a weird thought last night that I had to look up. What's the furthest place North in Minnesota that you can get a bite to eat? So, I did a little research and found an interesting answer.
I started looking at places like Grand Marais, or Lake Of The Woods resorts, assuming one of those would have the spot further north. Then, I saw the Northwest Angle on the map and thought, "Do they even have any restaurants there?"

It turns out they do, and they actually have a marker for the Northernmost point in the contiguous United States.
The place is called Jerry's Restaurant and Bar. It was recently remodeled, too. It looks really nice. People call it the best place in the Northwest Angle. Not to take anything away from it, but it's the only place on the Northwest Angle.
Jerry's serves as a hub for visitors and locals on Lake Of The Woods. That's the place locals even go for their flu shot.
It's the only restaurant at Angle Inlet. There are various resorts in the area and Jerry's is the place to be. They have a large bar and also a rooftop deck where you can have a million-dollar view.
The food looks pretty good as well. They offer some specialty burgers and a variety of menu items.
So if you want to get a bite to eat in the Northernmost point in the contiguous 48, here's where to go. I'm adding a stop here to my bucket list.
