Duluth’s New Crisp + Green Review

Yum! In case you didn't know, a brand new salad shop is calling Duluth home and soon you will be able to feast there, too.

Crisp & Green is located in the Shops at Bluestone plaza in Duluth, near Waxing The City and Starbucks. It's also near Qdoba as well.

We learned that a Crisp & Green was coming to Duluth back in February. At the time, it was also announced that Insomnia Cookies would be moving in as well right next door.

Crisp & Green is defined as fast, casual and healthy food. The business officially opens this weekend but I had a chance to test it out beforehand.

I was impressed right when I walked in. The space was clean and modern and the menu was also straightforward. I had a hard time deciding what I was going to get with all of these options.

The menu includes wraps, signature salads, grain bowls, smoothies and healthy drinks. Crisp & Green also has açaí bowls to pair with your meal or eat on your own.

Once you make a decision, your salad is mixed right in front of you. You move down the line for all the toppings before checking out near the end of the line.

It was a tossup between a wrap and a salad but I went with a Classic Chicken Caesar. I am so glad I did because it was fresh and delicious. It also had the perfect dressing to lettuce ratio, which is hard to come by.

Prices range from 12 bucks for a wrap to about 14 bucks for a salad or bowl. They also offer takeout, delivery and catering.

You can check out the full Crisp & Green menu online and stop by in person when it opens this Saturday (August 3rd)! I thought it was delicious and a great option for when you want something filling and healthy.
