Another Millionaire Was Just Made in Minnesota
Another lucky individual has just become a millionaire, courtesy of the Minnesota Lottery.
The latest Gopher 5 drawing Monday night had a jackpot of $1,911,615. To win that jackpot, a ticket must match all 5 numbers drawn, and one lottery ticket purchased in a Southwest Minnesota town did just that with a near-record-setting jackpot for the game.
The Gopher 5 drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:17 PM. Each ticket costs only $1 with a minimum jackpot of $100,000.

If you match two numbers, you win $1, matching three numbers gets you $15, four numbers and your winnings go up to $500, and match five numbers you walk away with the whole kit and caboodle.
Monday night's Gopher 5 numbers are 29, 35, 38, 39, 40.
A ticket purchased at Cho's Food-N-Fuel at 907 Diagonal Rd in Worthington matches all five numbers to win the nearly $2 million jackpot.
The largest Gopher 5 jackpot in history was $2.01 million in November of 2014.
As of Tuesday morning, this latest Minnesota millionaire has not come forward to claim their prize yet. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim a prize.

The odds of winning the Gopher 5 jackpot are 1 in 1,533,939.
