It looks like it could be junk mail but it's not. Chances are you will be getting your stimulus payment in this manner if the IRS doesn't have any recent bank information on you.

If the IRS does have your banking information, just keep checking your bank balance.

The stimulus debit card is issued from META Bank. It will come in a white envelope from Money Network Cardholder Services.  Don't throw it away as junk mail.  It's legit.

When you call the number on the card, they will ask for the last 6 digits of your Social Security number. Don't worry, it's not a scam, so don't hang up and don't throw the card away.

United States Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin says, "Prepaid debit cards are secure, easy to use, and allow us to deliver Americans their money quickly."

If you haven't received your stimulus payment yet and aren't sure if you qualify or not, check with irs.gov for more information. Otherwise keep an eye out for that white envelope from  Money Network Cardholder Services.
