I feel like Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger, abd Posh should be the spokes-pop-peeps endorsing these new Peeps because...they're spicy! ((rim shot!))

I love cinnamon...the real thing and the Altoids version of cinnamon. I like the flavor, not the hot. So when I see Peeps has rolled out Hot Tamale Peeps for Easter, I'll take a miss, my friend. But YOU? You shouldn't miss out because of me, so here's the scoop, poop!

Certainly you know about Peeps...the marshmallow-ish candy that everyone loves at Easter (and if you're like me, you love it in the microwave. Not to eat, just to watch it implode). There are several colors they swear have different tastes, but basically, it's a sugary covering that crunches when you bite into the yellow marshmallow.

The same company that makes Peeps also makes...Hot Tamales. They're like Mike and Ike's (yep, same company as Peeps and Hot Tamales), but with a lot of cinnamon flavor...or at least a version of cinnamon that's hot. In school we used to put a handful in our mouths and try to deal with the heat.

Most of us failed and cried. Did I mention it was grade school? It was grade school.

Anyway, head to either Rochester Target (or a Target near you) and you'll find your normal everyday Peeps. And next to it, the co-mingling of Hot Tamales and Peeps. Are they super hot? You'll have to tell me 'cuz I'm #TeamNoWay on this one.

At some point we're going back to the movies, and at movie theaters they sells Mike and Ike's and Hot Tamales, so...which candy do you buy first? Try it in this order...
