Winter weather along with snowmelt and rain have caused flooding and tough road conditions across the Midwest. One Iowa State Trooper found himself in thigh-high water while helping rescue an 82-year-old driver.

The Iowa State Patrol posted the photo on their Facebook page, showing Trooper Neal Johnson wade through thigh-high water while helping a driver who was trapped after rolling his car on I-35 near Mason City.

You can check out the photo below from the Iowa State Patrol Facebook Page.

It is pretty incredible to see the Troopers effort in rescuing the driver who was in the wreck. Kudos to Trooper Johnson and the Iowa State Patrol for going above and beyond to help those in need.
