How You Can Use Kool-Aid to Your Advantage
I found this to be pretty awesome. I used to love Kool-Aid as a kid, and I really could drink it all day. There was these juice boxes called "Kool-Aid Jammers" I am not even sure if they are still a thing, but they were basically a pouch of Capri-Sun, except it was Kool-Aid on the inside. Pretty sweet, right?
Anyway, THIS post from The Krazy Coupon Lady gives you "11 Mind -Blowing Ways to Use Kool-Aid"
How could that be possible? The best part, is that it doesn't even have to do with drinking the Kool-Aid! I know! Crazy, right?
You can check out all of them for yourself right HERE, but I picked some of my favorites.
1. Scrub Stains In the Toilet Bowl
For real? It does that? You have to use the old-fashioned powdered Kool-Aid of course, for the texture, but still pretty sweet!
2. Remove Rust From Your Washing Machine
Again, anytime you can use Kool-Aid to clean something that is difficult to clean. Plus, nobody likes a dirty washing machine. I wouldn't recommend running the Kool-Aid through with a load of laundry, though...
3. Make Scented Play Dough!
This actually might be my personal favorite. There is more to the recipe, though:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 Kool-Aid packets
- 3/4 cup water
Reheat over medium and stir till all the clumps are gone. How sweet is that? scented play dough?!? I would have loved this as a kid!
What would you do with Kool-Aid?
