Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News) - A section of Highway 14 east of Rochester has been reopened.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the four-week-long closure of the highway between Chester Woods Park and Eyota was needed while the Canadian Pacific Railway completed bridge repairs over the highway.

A news release says traffic will be detoured off Highway 14 in the same area in August. The late summer closure will be for culvert replacement work near Chester. That project is expected to take about six weeks to complete.
