Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Another significant traffic headache in the Rochester area was cleared up Thursday afternoon.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Highway 14 between Rochester and Eyota was reopened, ending a detour that had been in place for weeks. The roadway was shut down while crews replaced two large culverts that ran under the highway in Chester. The reopening today occurred after construction crews completed the final paving and temporary striping.

MnDOT is urging motorists to be extra cautious while traveling through the area while crews continue to clean up and wrap up the project.
