I'm in love with this brand new baby animal!  The face on the baby girl giraffe at Como Park Zoo just melts your heart and I just want to squeeze her little-spotted cheeks...but she is missing something; a name.

Look at that photo of the cute baby girl that was born October 2nd at a length of 5'10'' and 120 pounds.  (She's as tall as me!)   You can see her photo at Como Zoo's Facebook page here or below.

Baby girl giraffe made her debut to the public on Wednesday, October 10th, with her momma, Daisy, standing behind her watching the entire time.  The zoo shared photos and the fun moment on social media and also the announcement that they need help deciding on a name for the new calf.

Como is turning to its large social media following to help name the baby giraffe. Between now and Thursday, October 18, people can visit Como’s FacebookTwitter, and Instagram pages to offer their suggestions. Three names will be selected by the zoo’s giraffe keepers and staff. Ballot boxes will be set up for visitors to vote on the three names during Como’s Creepy Crawly Creature Awareness Weekend, October 20 & 21. The name receiving the most votes over the weekend will be the new name of the baby.

If you've got an idea, make sure you put your suggestion on Como's social media pages.
