The National Weather Service is reporting heavy rain is possible tonight, while there should be some relief from all the heat.

If you are camping or staying near a body of water, be sure to stay alert as flooding could come quickly if the heavy rain reaches Southeast Minnesota. The National Weather Service is also saying that 1-2 inches of rain is possible in the Preston area.

It will remain hot through the afternoon, but when the rain hits, expect the temperature to get down to around 68 degrees. The heat will return on Monday and Tuesday, though, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s.
