Hail and Thunderstorm in Forecast – Wind Speed Reaching 50 MPH

If you are north Interstate 90, you need to be prepared for this severe thunderstorm.

Several counties are included in the severe thunderstorm watch including Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona.

With the damaging winds on the way, there is also opportunity for hail to reach the area.

With the hot weather this weekend, many people may be out camping, or spending time outside, so if you are out, be sure to move indoors if a warning is issued, and find some sturdy shelter if you are camping.

South of the I-90 border may see some rain/thunderstorms, but it looks like the storm will stay north of the Interstate. The Thunderstorm watch is in effect until 12:00pm. Be safe out there!
