Minnesota's own Grain Belt beer is looking to give away 10 years of free beer to someone who finds a silver Grain Belt Nordeast beer can. Each silver can that is found amounts to some free beer, but one person who finds a silver can will win the grand prize of 10 years of beer.

Grain Belt Nordeast Silver Anniversary packages have some very special and very valuable silver cans. Each special silver can found will net the person who found it 3 cases of Grain Belt beer and will also get them in the running to win a case a month for the next 10 years according to Grain Belt's website.

The contest according to the Grain Belt website will run until August 31st.

Nordeast was added to the Grain Belt line-up ten years ago after the brand became a part of the Schell's Brewery in New Ulm in 2002. According to the website, the beer got its name to pay "homage to the neighborhoods in northeast Minneapolis that still stand in the shadows of the original Grain Belt brewery."

Grain Belt has also added other beers to it's stable with the addition of BLU, Southwest Cerveza, and more recently a hard seltzer named N'Icebreaker.
