P.J Fleck is the type of coach that wants to create a certain culture for the Minnesota Football community, and what he did during the Gophers Spring Game will make you want to jump up and down with excitement and maybe even shed a tear or two.

Gopher defensive lineman Sam Renner, a redshirt junior, was a walk-on at the University of Minnesota. He a no idea he was about to be rewarded with a scholarship after walking on three years ago, according to Bring Me The News.

Fleck stopped the spring game and directed everyone's attention to the video board where Renner saw that he was getting a scholarship. Check it out here:

Chills down my spine every time I watch it! This program and culture is all about student-athletes excelling as people and not just football players, and Fleck has inspired many to grow as people on and off the field.

Renner had a 3.2 GPA when Fleck arrived. After Fleck pushed him, it resulted in a perfect 4.0. Pretty incredible! RTB!
