Golden Gophers To Hold Diaper Drive at Open Practice

After going to Minnesota Vikings training camp earlier this week,it made me think of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team, and how I should go see them as well! So I looked online, and the University of Minnesota football team has 6 open practices this August! It starts with tonight's at 6:00, then tomorrow, they are looking for folks to donate to a good cause.

At tomorrow's 3:30 practice, the Gophers are hosting a diaper drive. Fans are encouraged to bring six-packs, boxes of 96, however many, as all will benefit Diaper Bank of Minnesota. The Diaper Bank of Minnesota has distributed 105,000 diapers already this year!

So this is as good an excuse as any to attend a Gophers open practice. The full schedule of open practices include tonight (August 4th) at 6:00, diaper drive at 3:30 tomorrow, another 3:30 practice on Tuesday, August 8th, 4:15 practice August 11th, and 3:30 practices on August 15th and 17th! Let's go Gophers! Can't wait to hear them on the radio on KVGO this fall!
