The number 3 seeded GMLOK Bulldogs scored all six of their runs in the fourth inning, utilizing the bunt to their advantage, en route to a 6-4 victory over the number 4 seeded Pine Island Panthers on Cool 104.

The Bulldogs got it started when Gracie Schmidt got hit by a pitch, and then the next five batters reached base and scored for the Bulldogs, and much of it had to do with the batters just bunting their way on to first, making the Panthers make a decision. Whether to throw it home or throw it to first for the out.

It was a great strategy for the Bulldogs, as they were able to get runners on base and move them around efficiently. It was the only inning that Bulldogs scored in, and it was all they needed.

Alayna Meskill was dynamite throughout the game, keeping the Panthers off balance in this one. In the fifth inning, Pine Island got a huge hit. It was a three-run home run off the bat of Haley Bauman, to make the score 6-4.

In came down to the seventh with two on and two out, and Bauman up. Meskill was able to get her to line out to right field to secure the victory

Meskill's performance earned her Player of the Game honors for GMLOK, while Bauman locked it up for Pine Island.
