Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Get ready for more snow.
Southeast Minnesota received 2 - 5 inches on Tuesday with totals in the Rochester area in the 2 - 3 inch range. Byron reported 5 inches while the total at the Rochester airport was 2 ½ inches.
The snow created slick roads that led to numerous traffic wrecks and mishaps Tuesday. Motorists are being advised to drive carefully as many roads were still slippery as of Wednesday morning.
But don’t put away the snowblowers and shovels.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the region for Friday, predicting as much as 4 - 8 (or more) inches by the time it ends.
