Fillmore Central Girls Place 2nd At State Golf
Congrats to the Fillmore Central Girls Golf Team!
The Fillmore Central Girls Golf team placed second at the Class A State Meet, falling just one stroke short of Luc qui Parle Valley. The Falcons ended with a team total of 715.
The Falcons were paced by Grace Miller, who tied for the third-best score on the tournament when she carded a 157, two behind tournament medalist Rachal Halverson of Luc qui Parle Valley.
Madison Scheevel was 6th with a 162, Cailey Rindles was 33rd with a 193, Taylor Bushman carded a 204 to place 49th, Keanna Weedman came in 61st with a 212 and Hailey Lange came in 78th with a 224 to round out the scoring for the Falcons.
It was another impressive showing for Fillmore Central who has dominated recently in Section 1 and across the state, locking down a State Championship in 2016.
It was a great showing for the squad and was a very impressive way to close out the 2018 golf season. Congrats!
