ESPN College GameDay Returns To Minnesota
For the second time in two seasons, the premier college football pregame show is making its way back to Minneapolis.
Last week it was announced that Minnesota would open up the Big 10 season against Michigan in primetime. ESPN followed that announcement up yesterday that College GameDay would return to TCF Bank Stadium.
ESPN College GameDay goes on-air at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct 24th from inside of TCF Bank Stadium. Fans will not be permitted to attend the show and the set location will not allow for any public viewing, according to a release from Gopher Sports.
It is the second-ever trip to Minnesota for College GameDay, as the show made its first-ever appearance last year on Minnesota's campus for the team's final home game last season against Wisconsin.
Back-to-back home games for ESPN College GameDay is a rarity, and according to the release from Gopher Sports it is believed to be only the fifth time that the show is visiting a school for consecutive home games.
