Ellen’s Top Moments of the Decade Included a Woman in Minnesota

It's not every day that you see someone from Minnesota on a huge show like Ellen.  For a woman in Minnesota, not only was she on the show back in 2010 but she was recently picked as one of Ellen's top 4 moments of the decade.

You probably know the names -Jennifer Aniston and Michelle Obama.  Well, besides their huge fame, they were both two of the people who had some fun moments with Ellen over the last decade.  A name you should also know though is Heidi Cunningham Schauer.  She's our very own, Minnesotan who left a lasting memory for viewers and with Ellen as she helped with a prank while she was at a Starbucks.

About once a year since 2010 when this visit to @theellenshow happened, I get a note from someone that the #starbucks #prank video clip got played and they are still laughing. Today, I was sitting in a doctor's office when this got forwarded to me. It's still one of my favorite memories. What I loved then, and still love now, about Ellen is that she LOVES to laugh, she encourages and celebrates #bekind to one another -- not just her besties but ALL people -- and she gives what she can to help others and inspires everyone she knows to do the same. This moment meeting her and sharing some laughs is one of my favorite moments of the decade, too.
