Donations To Cover Fine For Wild Forward Turns Into $30,000 for Children’s Minnesota
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - In what started as donations to cover a fine that was issued to the Minnesota Wild’s Ryan Hartman has turned into over $30,000 going to Children’s Minnesota.

Hartman was fined $4,250 by the NHL Wednesday morning for unsportsmanlike conduct, and fans of the Wild took to Venmo and started to donate to Hartman to cover the fine. Donations quickly exceeded over $7,000.
Hartman made an announcement on Twitter that he would cover the fine with his own money, but all of the money that was donated to him would instead be going to Children’s Minnesota.
As of 7 p.m. Friday night, Hartman had collected over $30,000 in donations.
