Hail, rain, destructive tornadoes, and horrible winds tore through Iowa and Minnesota on April 12th, 2022 and during that, 9 semis were tossed on the Interstate, which is something you NEVER see happen. One was actually caught on video as it happened.
As the narrator says, this is a "once in a lifetime wind event".
Crazy, right?! I can't even imagine watching this happen in front of me as I was driving. This is definitely an image that the other drivers nearby will never forget.
Cleanup of the accidents took quite a few hours but thanks to emergency crews, the I-35 Northbound lane was back open. Thankfully no major injuries were reported from these semi-rollovers.
