Crash Takes out Lights at Rochester Intersection
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An intersection near Rochester Community and Technical College will likely be without traffic control lights this weekend because of an early morning traffic wreck.
Rochester police say a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Ewell Bryant was on East Circle Dr around 1:45 AM Saturday when it struck a patch of ice, left the roadway and rolled.
The vehicle also crashed into the utility box that controls the traffic lights at the Collegeview Rd intersection, knocking them out of service. Police say the damage was so severe, a temporary fix is unlikely. Bryant did not require medical attention.
